Helsinki Film Lab collaborates with Pocket Gamer Connects to launch Beyond Games: The Transmedia Summit

With a trailblazing initiative, Helsinki Film Lab is breaking new ground: a first-of-its-kind summit in Helsinki will bring film, TV, animation, and games professionals together to initiate and consolidate cross-industry collaboration.

Helsinki Film Lab is joining forces with Pocket Gamer Connects (PGC) Helsinki, the leading games industry conference in the Nordics, to present Beyond Games: The Transmedia Summit on Tuesday, 7 October 2025 at Wanha Satama, in downtown Helsinki.

PG Connects brings together thousands of games professionals: in 2024, over 1,500 delegates from more than 40 countries gathered in Helsinki. This year, for the first time, the event opens its doors to film, TV, and animation professionals through the new Transmedia Summit, offering a rare chance for the screen industries to step directly into dialogue with the international games world.
